proLIGHT 3000 Turning Center

Metals and Ceramics Division

proLIGHT™ 3000 is a fully enclosed, CNC, tabletop, turning center. It uses intuitive, Windows-based control software that is compatible with ISO standard G- and M-code program statements. Because of its small size and low cost of operation, it is an ideal research tool for performing machining studies on specialized materials. The proLIGHT™ 3000  is being instrumented with sensors that include a dynamometer for measuring cutting tool forces and spindle power.
