The PLD and MBE chamber equipped with STM, AFM, LEED, RHEED, in situ-MOKE and CMA-Auger. Multiple targets can be loaded inside the chamber on a rotating holder, which can be used to sequentially expose different targets to the laser beam, thereby enabling the in-situ growth of heterostructures and superlattices with relatively clean interfaces. The in-situ MOKE set-up has 700 Gauss field. The VT-STM and cantilever AFM (Omicron NanoTechnology GmbH) can be cooled down to 10K and both have atomic resolution. The specific Micro-channel plate LEED ( mcp-LEED) allow beam currents down to 0.1 nA for LEED from electrically insulating surfaces.
