The purpose of this task is to develop low-cost fabrication methods for asymmetric membranes, which can be used for gas separation or catalysis.
This project is focused on:
  • rapid sintering using focusing a focused infrared source

  • deposition and characterization of ceramic membranes on porous metallic supports.
