Kevin Harper has been a member of the Materials Processing Group since 2007. He has an A.S. degree from Pellissippi State. He has a strong background in laser processing and is responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the 4kW Nd:YAG and the 25W CO2 laser systems. He also has experience with Solidworks 3D modeling software, vacuum arc melting, the deposition of metallic powders for coating applications and many other research areas within the lab.
