Evan Ohriner received his Ph. D in Metallurgy from the University of Connecticut in 1980.
He has worked as a Senior Research Metallurgist with AMAX Materials Research, a Research Metallurgist with Pfizer Speicalty Metals, and has had more than 24 years of work experience in the field of metallurgy, and is a nationally recognized leader in refractory metals and alloys.
He was the primary inventor of the IR 100 award alloy NOREM(tm), which is used primarily in nuclear valve applications, and holds several other patents related to the field of metallurgy.
