Produce sheet from traditionally difficult-to-process alloys using high density infrared
(HDI) heating.

Accomplishments:
Developed HDI processing techniques for powder precursors of Ni, Ti-6Al-4V,
gamma TiAl, rhenium.
Developed rapid annealing techniques for sheet materials.
Radiant heat transfer model for prediction of appropriate processing parameters.
