Research Experience:

• Cyclotron Operations at the Oak Ridge Isochronous Cyclotron. Duties include operation and maintenance of the cyclotron.
• Senior Engineering Technologist, ORNL Fuel Cycle Engineering Group. Duties include fuel particle coating by chemical vapor deposition, fuel rod fabrication techniques, hot cell operations.
• Principal Technologist, ORNL Surface Processing and Mechanics Group. Duties include design, fabrication, and operation of chemical vapor infiltration and deposition equipment, sample preparation and analysis of x-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Design, fabrication, and operation of tribology equipment and data analysis.

Honors and Awards:

• R&D 100 Award, for the development of the 3M Ceramic Composite Filter, 1995.
